We have set the industry standard high by using premium materials and assembly techniques for our hard wood pedalboard lineup. All of our most requested features are built into our Standard Line hardwood series. You won’t find anything of better quality anywhere, guaranteed!

What are the 1/4″ lead assemblies for? These are audio input/output connections. Soldered cable leads that mount on the input side and output side of the board. Each input has a soldered cable that will connect to the input (Right Side) of your first pedal and the output (Left Side) of your last pedal. Plug your instrument and amp cables right into the side of the pedalboard instead of into the pedals directly.  Helps offset wear and tear and also reduces setup and teardown if you gig with the board. We can add extra’s if needed:

Why would I need extra cable assemblies?  Extra In’s & Outs are the single most requested add-on we have.  There are so many uses and possible configurations, you’ll have to call in to add those functions in.  The good news is its easily possible!  The most requested: The mysterious FX Loop… This  option would give you two more 1/4″ soldered cable assemblies on the output side of the pedalboard.

Do I need the FX Loop option? If your amplifier doesn’t have this feature, then no. If it does, and your not sure if you should be using it, watch this video! https://youtu.be/7Hi7fBwe5JM

What is the pedalboard power IEC inlet and what is it for?  The IEC inlet is used to feed power to the side of the board from any power outlet. The switch controls On/Off function.  The lamp & soldered pigtail connection that runs under the pedalboard connecting any brand of power supply that uses an C13 IEC plug.

What is a power supply, and why do I need one? Power supplies provide clean and reliable power to each pedal on the board. This helps simplify pedal installation because you don’t need a bunch of wall adapters powering each pedal from a huge power strip. These tiny power supplies make powering your pedals easy, and can actually increase their performance. If you want specifics on that, go here. When you buy the power supply from us, it gets installed for free!

How do I attach my pedals? Our hard wood pedalboard lineup include our Super Loop velcro style top deck material. Each board we send out, also comes with an accessory kit, industrial strength Velcro hook is included! It works well with most other velcro loop products as well. Check out our Velcro install video!

The face of the board has a couple of knots, one that is a hole that goes completely through the thickness of the board, the other, has material missing on the backside that is hidden. I know it could be viewed as a natural phenomenon with Walnut, but I’ve been following your socials for years and I can’t remember seeing one posted that contained flaws like this. I wish I could have been consulted on whether it was acceptable or if I wanted a different piece of Walnut to be the face of my board. Other than that, the construction quality is great and the in/out jacks and power supply work perfectly.

After seeing the many reviews and videos online regarding West Coast Pedalboards, I was eager and beyond excited for the board to arrive. Unsurprisingly, It exceeded every one of my expectations. The customer service leading up to the delivery was top notch. Above all, the craftsmanship is in a class of it's own. The finishing on the wood is immaculate, the added power outlets and cable leads are neatly stowed away, and the soldering is clean! For anyone looking for a board that's aesthetically pleasing, practical, and durable, look no further. It's clear that this workshop takes pride in their products and I'm quite proud to be an owner of one of their boards.

I feel for the price I could have gotten a nicer piece of flamed maple on the audience side being the largest and most visible piece . Other than that the quaintly of the craftsmanship is really great .

Excellent quality all around. Great customer service experience. I use effects often on bass, guitar and lap steel, but I honestly never thought I'd own a board this nice. I paid $405 for a 36-inch walnut board. Spencer had it set up to run with 2 MXR Bricks. I could tell by his voice he didn't think that was optimal but didn't give me any grief. (I can always upgrade if I want to.) Pedal boards are the kind of thing lots of people say they "could" build if they wanted to. But I'm not a carpenter and have no interest in developing that skill, so this worked out great. (My girlfriend, in fact, is a woodworker and industrial designer, and she was impressed with the board, and that's after telling me repeatedly she could build me one for next to no cost with wood from our garage.) I see online commenters griping about the price. C'mon. We all know how expensive pedals and gear can be, especially when added up. I bet lots of people who gripe about the price own pedals that cost more than a West Coast board. Do you really want to own a bunch of nice effects and then put them on a crummy board?

I’m blown away with the incredible quality and attention to detail. THIS THING IS BEAUTIFUL!! Everything about this is top notch, the craftsmanship of the wood working, the heavy duty cables/wiring, the Velcro top is great and makes it easy to organize/reorganize your pedals, fitting the power supply underneath and how organized and hidden the cables and wiring are underneath Is great, easy to pick up and move around while keeping everything in place, the FX loop option is awesome as well. This pedal board is sturdy and built to last, no doubt and I have zero complaints. I can’t wait to add some more pedals too this beauty. Thank you Spencer and west coast pedal board, I love it!????
