Description

Square Plug Sp500 – 1/4″ Pedalboard Patch Cable Plugs

The smallest soldered mini right angled soldered 1/4″ phone plug known to man!  If you care about your pedalboard wiring, these mini plugs will soon become an integral part of your rig. We’ve sold and used thousands of these with consistent success, thus, making these plugs industry standard the world over for professional rig builders. The very low profile Sp500 plug has tip and ground solder lugs and is super easy to put together.  They are great option when a small footprint is desired from a soldered plug.  We use these on most every pedalboard build that requires a small right angle 1/4″ connection. It works spectacular with the Mogami 2319 patch cable.

  • 1 3/8″ Length
  • 1/4″ Insert Point to Rear of Jacket
  • .75″ Maximum Width
  • .25″ Maximum Cable diameter allowance – no heat shrink use with Mogami 2319 which is .25″ diameter.

These low profile pancake style connectors are a life saver for creating room and saving precious space on your pedal board. They have that old school look but with a more modern and slim design. Great product.

As I say before, the overall quality of the product, including this one, is OK. However, as stated in the Picture above, it supposed to be MONO, and one of the 11 that I received is STEREO, and has a cable on it.

I love the parts I get from West Coast Pedal Boards! I use them in my own builds.

These plugs are amazing! I replaced all of my Lava cable tightropes for these, and was worried they would be too big comparatively. Very happily surprised and relieved that they take up the same space on my board in between pedals, and fit through the cable ports on my Temple Audio pedal board(unlike other generic pancake plugs I ordered). These give me the reliability of a soldered connection, and look super clean and professional, which is perfect! The only downside is not being able to put two of them together side-by-side on my Boss DD-7 if I use the tap tempo out, and mono input. Just a hair too wide. 100% would still recommend to everyone.
